Netflix has been dominating the streaming wars for sometime now with the variety of content it has been offering customers. Be it Originals, movies, or shows, the streamer enjoys a massive subscriber base with more than 200 million people all over the world. With an international audience already hooked to a majority of the content it puts out, it’s no surprise that some series on Netflix constitute to be the most-watched in history.
Every Tuesday, the Netflix Top 10 website provides viewers to look at the shows – English and other languages – that are the most popular in every country around the world based on hours viewed from Monday through Sunday. Likewise, each time any new show enters the charts during the week prior, these all-time rankings also get updated every Tuesday. Below are the series that have been the most watched on Netflix and are based on the total number of hours viewed in the first 28 days of each show’s release. And, in the event of the premiere of a series’ new season’s episodes being released in two different volumes on separate dates, Netflix does a count of the hours watched for the first volume’s episodes for the first 28 days, followed by the second volume’s episodes for its first 28 days.
